EMMANUEL ALEXCIA

Emmanuel Alexia makes paste for his work from some clay and stones in Dordogne.
The natural materials are crashed, elutrited and mixed by himself. The mixed paste is devided into ten (at the most) bowls.

He split some amount of paste for making one bowl. Then he bult up a bowl without adding or reducing any paste. That is his policy.

I introduce here five bowls. Each bowl has its own recipe and manner.

He has two kilns. A charcoal RAKU-type kiln(only one bowl for one firing) and a little dragon kiln(16 bowls simultaneously ). He sometimes uses both kiln to finishing his tea bowl. Twice or three times firing for each bowl.
