Ryoji Koie tea bowl
MUJI-BAKEME(Brush worked piece without brush marks) tea bowl

Old Japanese tea lovers categorized the partially-white-glaze-covered piece into a group of "HAKEME(brush-work)" tea bowls. MUJI means no brush marks.

 

Masahiro Takehana (b.1974-)

Born in Tokyo and studied civil engineering at Kumamoto University in Kyushu island. After graduation of the university he began lerning potteries at an atelier of AYA-GAMA kiln.
